FLORENTINE SCHOOL OF THE 15TH CENTURY THREE FRANCISCAN SAINTS Oil tempera on poplar panel (?). 8,5 x 31,5 cm. Part. slightly old rest., possibly shortened at the sides. As Michele Danieli (Bologna) has verified, two other panels with the same layout, composition and iconography as well as the same style are in Rome in the Pinacoteca Vaticana (Vatican). We are gratefull to Michele Danieli for his research and for his commitment in deciphering the panel offered here. Provenance: North German private collection.
