BRONZE VASE, OIL LAMP AND AMPHORA Roman, probably 1st century AD Bronze, cast, chiselled. H. 30 cm. Part. slightly dam., very strong traces of weathering, oxidation and encrustation. Expertise: Attached expertise by Joshua Simon, Jerusalem, dated 12.10.1961. Simon dates the Roman bronze vase to the 1st or 2nd century AD. Provenance: Private collection Dr Ehlen, Bonn. Previously family property of the father since the early 20th century.
