THREE FINE IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF ANIMALS Japan, 18th/19th century Ivory. L. 3.8-4.8 cm. Including a netsuke carved as a shishi seated on an oval base, a netsuke as a dog seated on base with the left front leg raising and a netsuke as two playful puppies with inlaid eyes. With traces of use, partially cracked and damaged. This lot contains elephant ivory and is therefore subject to CITES regulations with restrictions on imports or exports. It is a buyer's responsibility to obtain any export or import licences, certifications and any other required documentation. Certificate for intra-EU trade is issued. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
