AN IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A NOH MASK, KO-OMOTE Japan, late 19th century Ivory. H. 4.1 cm. The netsuke is carved as a mask of a young woman with almond-shaped eyes and slender lips forming a subtle smile. With traces of age and use, partially cracked.
