A FINE IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A MONKEY AND A LARGE CHESTNUT Japan, 2nd half of the 19th century Ivory. L. 4 cm. This netsuke is carved as a monkey lying on a chestnut with a little peeled skin with the signature "Kosen" on the bottom. With traces of use and age, partially cracked, abraded and damaged.
