A FINE IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A CHINESE WITH GOURD Japan, 18th/19th century Ivory. H. 5.8 cm. The netsuke is carved as a chinese bending down, holding a gourd in both hands. With traces of age and use, partially cracked. This lot contains elephant ivory and is therefore subject to CITES regulations with restrictions on imports or exports. It is a buyer's responsibility to obtain any export or import licences, certifications and any other required documentation. Certificate for intra-EU trade is issued.
