A FINE IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF SHOKI WITH ONI Japan, 19th century Ivory. H. 4.7 cm. The netsuke is carved as shoki walking forwards, holding his sward in left hand and carrying a bag with a captured oni on his back. With traces of age and use. This lot contains elephant ivory and is therefore subject to CITES regulations with restrictions on imports or exports. It is a buyer's responsibility to obtain any export or import licences, certifications and any other required documentation. Certificate for intra-EU trade is issued.
