AN IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A RAT ON ROPE Japan, 18th/19th century Ivory. L. 7.8 cm. The netsuke is carved as a small rat with inlaid eyes laying on tied bundle of twisted rope. With traces of use, slightly chipped and cracked. This lot contains materials that require a CITES permit when exported to countries outside the EU. Certificate for intra-EU trade is issued.
