AN IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A FOX PRIEST Japan, 18th/19th century Ivory. H. 4.7 cm. The netsuke is carved as a fox dressed in a priest's robe and holding a bamboo cane. With traces of use, partially probably damaged and restored. This lot contains materials that require a CITES permit when exported to countries outside the EU. Certificate for intra-EU trade is issued.
