Description
A GOLD LACQUER FIVE-CASE INRO Japan, 19th century Lacquerware. H. of inro 8.7 cm, D. of netsuke 4.5 cm. The inro is decorated with a landscape in gold mura-nashiji, as well as taka- and hira-maki-e. The inro is accompanied by a wooden manju netsuke carved in the form of a group of masks from Noh and Kyogen theater. With traces of use and age.
