Description
A GROUP OF TWO HARDSTONE CARVED SNUFF BOTTLES China, 19th century or later Hardstone. H. 7.4-7.9 cm. One of the bottles is carved with a low relief of a scholar under a tree, while the back features a qilin. The other bottle has a low relief of a dragon on the front, with a leopard carved on the back. With traces of use, slightly chipped. Provenienz: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
