Description
A LARGE SILVER-MOUNTED SHIBAYAMA-INLAID IVORY TUSK VASE WITH BASE Japan, Meiji period Ivory. H. 46.5 cm (H. 86.5 cm with base). The vase is inlaid in typical Shibayama style with ikebana displays on both sides, signed in a reserve "Masanaga". With traces of use and age, partially damaged, inlays partially missing. This lot contains materials that require a CITES permit when exported to countries outside the EU. Certificate for intra-EU trade is issued.
