A LARGE WOOD LACQUERED SEATED FIGURE OF CROWNED BUDDHA Burma, 19th century Wood/glass. H. 83.5 cm. The Shan buddha is seated on a raised base, with right hand in bhumisparsha mudra and the left resting on lap. With traces of age and gilding, partially damaged and cracked. Provenance: From a private collection in Rhineland.
