CARL WILHELM ROBRA 1876 Berlin - 1945 ibid. EAGLE Bronze, dark patina, on a naturalistic plinth. H. 50.5, w. 60, d. 33 cm, weight approx. 18.5 kg. Signed on the reverse 'W. Robra' and foundry mark 'Bildgiesserei Kraas 1Berlin44'. A fully sculpted and fine depiction of an eagle with outstretched wings triumphantly perched on a rock. Min. rubbed and loss of patina.
