RAYMOND LÉON RIVOIRE 1884 Cusset - 1966 Paris 'ALLEGORY OF THE HARVEST' Bronze, golden patina, on a naturalistic plinth and green onyx base (h. 2.5 cm). Overall h. 22, w. 8, d. 9 cm, weight approx. 1.52 kg. Signed 'Rivoire' to the side of the plinth and 'MC 4' to the reverse. Fully sculpted nude depiction of a woman, wearing a loincloth and carrying grapes, standing on one leg, the other leg bent. Min. rubbed and loss of patina, base min. chip.
