GEORGES LAVROFF 1895 1895 Yeniseisk/ Russian Empire - 1991 Moscow ART DECO SEATED WOMAN PLAYING WITH A CAT Bronze, brown and gold patina, partially silver-plated, on a stepped plinth and rectangular marble base (h. 4 cm). Overall h. 26, w. 34, d. 12 cm, weight approx. 8.79 kg. Formerly an attachment for a mantel clock. Fully sculpted depiction of an elegant, seated woman in a detailed Art Nouveau dress, holding a flower in her hand and playing with a cat. Part. Loss of patina, min. chip.
