FRENCH SCULPTOR Active around 1900 BORGHESE FENCER / GLADIATOR (AFTER AN ANTIQUE ORIGINAL) Bronze, dark patina, on a rectangular plinth (h. 2 cm). Overall h. 33, w. 26, d. 30 cm, weight approx. 4.15 kg. On the plinth foundry mark 'F. Barbedienne Fondeur' on the plinth. Part. Loss of patina, rubbed and bumped, to the face.
