ANTOINE BOFILL 1875 Spain - 1939/53 worked in Barcelona and Paris FREEZING CHILD IN A COAT* 1910/20 Chryselephant, bronze, light patina, carved ivory face, on a plinth. H. 18.5, w. 7, d. 7 cm, weight approx. 1.26 kg. Signed 'Bofill' on the side of the plinth. Fully sculpted depiction of a standing, freezing girl, dressed in a hooded cloak. Part. Loss of patina and bumped. CITES certificate available. Trade in ivory/tortoiseshell is only permitted in the EU. Export to countries such as USA, Canada, England currently not possible.
