FREDERIC SACKRIDER REMINGTON 1861 Canton/ New York - 1909 Ridgefield/ Connecticut (after) OUTLAW Bronze, dark patina, on a naturalistic plinth and oval marble base (h. 4 cm). Overall h. 55.5, w. 35, d. 21 cm. Inscribed 'Frederic Remington' on the plinth and 'Outlaw' on the plaque. Above a rock plinth a fully sculpted, dynamic rodeo depiction of a cowboy sitting on a horse in a hump. Min. rubbed and loss of patina, rest, one drath damaged at the reins.
