LUCA MADRASSI 1848 Tricesimo - 1919 Paris 'PUCK LE LUTIN DES BOIS' Bronze, brown patina, on a round marble base. H. 100, w. 46, d. 48 cm. Inscribed 'Puck' and plaque 'Lutin des Bois par Madrassi' and 'W. M. Gohan 1899', on the side of the plinth 'Madrassi'. Fully sculpted depiction of a winged puck, prancing on one leg, holding a cloth, two PIGEONs frolicking at his feet. Part. Loss of patina, rubbed and bumped, one arm min. rest., base bumped.
