The painting is mentioned under number 84 on page 202 in Edward Morris and Emma Roberts: The Liverpool Academy and Other Exhibitions of Contemporary Art in Liverpool 1774-1867: A History and Index of Artists and Works Exhibited. Partially restored, paint loss along the left edge. Framed. Provenance: Private collection.
