MELCHIOR LORICHS (LORCK) around 1527 Flensburg - after 1594 Copenhagen 'PORTRAIT OF ALBRECHT DÜRER IN PROFILE TO THE RIGHT' (1550) Engraving on paper. Sheet size 16 x 9.5 cm (f. 19 x 13 x 1 cm). Monogrammed and dated 'ML 1550' lower right in the plate. Inscribed 'Albrecht Dürer' at the top left and right of the plate; Latin inscription at bottom left. Handwritten inscription on verso 'P mariette 1642' and collection stamp 'Kupferstich-Sammlung der Königl. Museun' and 'B Veraussert'. Browned, stained, rest. Framed behind glass.
