ALBRECHT DÜRER 1471 Nuremberg - 1528 ibid. 'THE MARTY OF THE TEN THOUSAND OF NICOMEDIA' (CIRCA 1497/98) Woodcut on paper, with unclear watermark (crown with triangle?). Sheet size (= print size) 38 x 28 cm (f. 56 x 43.5 x 1.5 cm). Monogrammed 'AD' (jointed) at the bottom center of the plate. Part. browned, stained, damaged and rest., horizontal creases, backed areas on the reverse. Framed in a passe-partout and behind glass. Literature: see Meder 218b.
