THREE BEHIND-GLASS MEZZOTINTO WORKS: 'AN EMBLEM OF ENGLAND / IRELAND AND SCOTLAND' England, London, P. Stampa, 1799 Mezzotint, coloring behind glass. Visible size 34.5 x 25 cm (f. 41 x 31 x 2 cm). Each titled lower middle and with different imprints, i.a. 'Published Octob.r 7 1799 by P. Stampa Leather Lane London'. Condition appropriate for its age, slightly damaged, browned. 3 (of 4) works in the series with allegorical depictions of the home nations ('Emblem of Wales' is missing). Each in the original frame.
