Titled and imprint at the bottom center of the plate, inscribed 'engraved by Tho.s Landseer' at the bottom right of the plate, 'painted by Edwin Landseer, R.A.' at the bottom left. Browned, stained. Shown is 'Quiz', a Maltese that belonged to Queen Victoria's mother. The graphic is based on a painting that the Queen commissioned from Landseer as a birthday present for her mother in the year of her accession to the throne. Framed behind glass (unopened).
