JOSEPH BENEDIKT WAGNER (ATTRIBUTED) 1773 Dresden - around 1842 FINE PORTRAIT MINIATURE WITH A PORTRAIT OF FRIEDRICH CHRISTIAN EMIL WILHELM DORNHEIM WITH AN EGLOMISÉ ALLEGORY ON THE BACK German, around 1808 Gouache, gold etching, behind glass in a gold frame with hanging loop, with original box. 7.5x6x0.5cm. Enclosed are two handwritten notes with a detailed explanation of the allegory on the back as well as a note of ownership. Age-appropriate condition, the gold etching with slight craquelure and signs of detachment.
