The central theme in the work of Helga Schmidhuber is nature. In doing so, her works speak to the soul of the viewer and thus nourish their vitality. Mostly the paintings look directly at the viewer, like this one. The ring-tailed lemurs, a species of lemur from the island of Madagascar, seek eye contact with the viewers and vice versa. This creates a dialogue that changes both sides.
