COLLECTION OF 18 VIOLIN BOWS German, 19th/20th century. Round and octagonal sticks, three with winding and thumb leather, 14 with frog, some without, with galalith or nickel silver head plates. L. 72 to 74 cm, weight 50 to 54 g. Partly marked, including 'Tourte', Roman numerals. Partly damaged and bumped, some without head plates or frog, without bow hair. Provenance: From an estate in North Rhine-Westphalia.
