Description
COLLECTION OF FOUR VIOLINS German, 19th/20th century. Two-piece spruce top and maple back, dark brown varnish. 4/4 violin l. 59.5/60 cm, body l. 35.5/36 cm. Partly unmarked, with brand stamp on the scroll 'Stainer'. One violin dated '1929' in ink on the back and branded 'Kleinod' under the suppositories on the outside, violin with violin label: 'Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1723 A.S. Bumped and damaged, in need of restoration, one violin without fingerboard, cracks in the top. Provenance: From an estate in North Rhine-Westphalia.
