Two-piece spruce top and one-piece maple back, brown varnish, cross worked into the scroll on the back, tailpiece with floral mother-of-pearl inlay. 4/4 violin, l. 59 cm, body l. 35,5 cm. Violin label: 'Joseph Akraning in Absan 1720', verso three dot branding. Part. rubbed and bumped, bridge and one string missing. Violin bow, 20th c., round stick, Parisian eye, silver mounting, ebonized frog, thumb leather and winding. L. 72,5 cm, weight ca. 58g. Unmarked violin bow. Thumb leather and winding worn, part. rubbed, stick bent, new bow hair needed. Comes with old case, 3 wolftackers, spare tailpiece and bridge.
