VIOLIN AFTER JOSEF KLOTZ AND VIOLIN BOW German, 19th/20th century. Two-piece spruce top and one-piece lightly flamed maple back, brown varnish, with case. 4/4 violin, l. 59.5 cm, body l. 36 cm. Violin label: 'Josef Klotz in Mittenwalde anno 1795'. Violin bow, round stick, nickel silver mounting and winding, thumb leather, single eye, ivory head plate. L. 74 cm, weight approx. 56g. Unmarked violin bow. Min. rubbed. Violin partially bumped and rubbed, rest at right f-holes.
