AN ICON OF CHRIST PANTOCRATOR WITH A SILVER AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL OKLAD Russian, 19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, Semen Galkin, 1896-1908 (oklad) Tempera on wood panek with kovcheg, with velvet backing. The robes repoussé and chased in trompe l'oeil style, the halo and borders with opaque and translucent enamel in traditional shades of blue, white and red. Marked with assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'SG' in Cyrillic. Partially restored, minor damages to the edges. 31.2 x 26.8 cm.
