A LARGE ICON SHOWING THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST AND THE DESCENT INTO HELL SURROUNDED BY 12 FESTIVALS Russian, Guslicy, 19th century Tempera on wood panel. Executed in bright colours on a gold ground. Four selected saints on the borders, the Guardian Angel and Sts. Yulitta and Kirik among them. Partially restored. 52 x 43.7 cm.
