A LARGE STAUROTHEK ICON SHOWING THE CRUCIFIXION OF CHRIST Russian, circa 1860 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The gilt background and border with etched tracery design. A brass and enamel Crucifix inserted in the wooden panel. Eight selected saints on the borders. Minimally restored. 53.4 x 44.4 cm.
