AN ICON SHOWING THE SAVIOUR WITH A SILVER-GILT OKLAD Russian, 1st half 18th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, M.N. Fetisov, 1848 (oklad) Tempera on wood panel. Overlaid with a finely chased silver-gilt oklad. The border chased and repoussé with foliage. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'N.F' in Cyrillic. Minimally restored. 31 x 24.5 cm.
