AN ICON SHOWING THE KAZANSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD WITH AN EMBROIDERED OLAD Russian, 18th century (icon), Russian, 19th century (riza), Lodz, Scheibler Factory, after 1855 (embroidery) Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The garments embellished with a golden hem and fringes. Overlaid with a brass oklad embroidered with glass pearls and paste. Embroidered cloth with factory mark 'Scheibler' in Cyrillic. Losses, restored. 31.3 x 26.2 cm.
