AN ICON SHOWING AN EXTENDED DEISIS WITH A SILVER-GILT BASMA Russian, 17th century (icon), Russian, 18th century (basma) Tempera on wood panel with double kovcheg. Overlaid with a finely engraved silver-gilt basma. Marked with master's mark 'AG' in Cyrillic. Minimally restored, the background stripped to gesso. 31.8 x 27.5 cm.
