A SMALL ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR WITH A SILVER AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL OKLAD Russian, late 19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, 1890 (oklad) Oil on metal on wood panel. Realistically painted, the oklad chased and repoussé, with sunburst pattern, the halo enamelled in champlevé enamel and with applied champlevé Gospels. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'N. Tch' in Cyrillic. 13.2 x 11.2 cm.
