A SMALL ICON SHOWING THE THREE-HANDED MOTHER OF GOD WITH A SILVER-GILT RIZA Russian, 19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, Aleksey Osipov, 1872 (riza) Tempera on wood panel. The gilded silver riza chased with foliage. The haloes decorated with enamel. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'AO'. Two selected saints on the borders: Guardian Angel and St. Dimitriy. Minor areas of retouching. 17.8 x 14 cm.
