AN ICON SHOWING STS. PELAGIA, PETR METROPOLITAN OF MOSCOW AND PARASKEVE WITH A SILVER-GILT RIZA Russian, early 19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, 1829 (riza) Tempera on wood panel. Executed in great detail with gold highlights. Overlaid with a chased and embossed silver-gilt riza. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'MI' in Cyrillic. Minimally restored. 35.5 x 31 cm.
