The haloes made of gold. The borders of the finely painted icon in a silver-gilt oklad with full length figures of the Guardian Angel, the Archangel Michael, Sts. Nicholas of Myra and Tatiana. The oklad finely repoussé and chased in high relief decorated with strapwork. The applied halo set with pastes. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'V. SOFRONOV' in Cyrillic. 31 x 26.7 cm.
