A VERY FINE VITA ICON OF ST. GERASIMOS WITH SCENES FROM HIS LIFE Russian, Mstera, late 19th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The haloes made of gold. All rendered in bright colours and with the drapery heightened with chrysography. Two selected saints on the borders showing the martyrs Paul and Juliana. Minor areas of retouching to the borders. 35.4 x 31.2 cm.
