A STAUROTHEK ICON SHOWING THE CRUCIFIXION AND TWELVE MAJOR FEASTS Russian, late 19th century Tempera on wood panel. The background made of silver, covered by a golden lacquer. A brass and enamel crucifix set into the panel. The borders painted with ornate strapwork and faux cloisonné enameling. Minimally restored. 35 x 30 cm.
