A MONUMENTAL BRASS JARDINIÈRE ON FOUR FEET WITH FLORAL DECOR AND STATE COAT OF ARMS OF THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE Probably Russian, ca.1900 Of round form, chased, dark patina, lapis lazuli. Attached bronze plate with double-headed eagle, Moscow coat of arms in the middle and eight small coats of arms of kingdoms and grand principalities of the Russian Empire on the wings including Kazan, Astrakhan, Poland, Siberia, Tauria, Georgia, Finnland and grand principalities of Rus. This small state coat of arms was approved in 1883 and used until 1917. 64 cm high.
