A MONUMENTAL ORMOLU-MOUNTED CHINOISERIE PORCELAIN VASE Russian, St. Petersburg, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, Period of Nicholas I (1825-1855), mid 19th century The body painted with chinoiserie within gilt cartouches on a cream ground. The rim, the handles and the ormolu base with rococo ormolu frieze formed as scrolling foliage. Inside the neckb with blue Imperial cipher of Nicholas I. The body minimally rubbed. 57 cm high.
