FIGURE OF AN APOSTLE READING A BOOK Probably South German/Austria, 17th century. Wood, carved in full relief, polychrome painted (probably original version), on a small plinth. H. 47, w. 21, d. 12 cm, weight approx. 2.27 kg. A full-length figure of an apostle reading a book. Part. Losses to the frame, dam., fingers and toes missing in the area of the base on the right foot, remains. Provenance: Central German private collection.
