FIGURE OF AN APOSTLE WITH A CHALICE Probably South German/Austria, 17th century. Wood, carved in full relief, polychrome painted (probably original version), on a small plinth. H. 53, w. 21, d. 16 cm, weight approx. 2.18 kg. A round, full-length depiction of an apostle with a chalice. Part. slight loss of color, loss of two parts of the fingers, old residue on one foot in the base area. Provenance: Central German private collection.
