GROUP OF FIGURES 'JESUS AND HIS TWELVE DISCIPLES' South German, around 1480 Wood, carved in relief, flattened on the reverse, partial remnants of an original version, on a later pedestal base (h. 15 cm). Overall h. 69, w. 74, d. 17 cm. Relief sculpture depicting Jesus, centered with apple and gesture of blessing and his disciples, each half-figure, partly shown with their attributes. Part. bumped and rest., min. anobia and stress cracks, remnants of a canvas to verso. Provenance: North German private collection.
