CRUCIFIXION GROUP South German, mid 18th century. Wood, carved in relief, flattened on the reverse, on an elongated pedestal base (h. 9 cm). Overall h. 41.5, l. 40, d. 9.5 cm, weight approx. 1.55 kg. Not belonging to John and Mary, leached and repainted. Part. bumped, min. dam. and rest., base with losses to mount. Provenance: Acquired on April 29, 1958 from the antique dealer Mr. Walter Erhardt in Munich.
