KRUZIFIX* Germany, 19th century. Carved ivory, with wooden cross (h. 32.5, secondary). Figure. H. 18, w. 13, d. 4 cm, weight approx. 170g. Expressively carved ivory corpus of Christ, in the four-nail type, girded loincloth, almost parallel legs and raised arms. Partly dam. and rest. CITES certificate available. Trade in ivory/tortoiseshell is only permitted in the EU. Export to countries like USA, Canada, England currently not possible. Please check the import regulations.
